OpenAI API Key

Used for the Whisper speech-to-text grader and optional higher-quality voice playback. Stored securely on the server — never sent to the browser.

Your key is active.

Whisper speech grading and OpenAI voice playback are both live. To replace the key, ask in chat: "Update my OPENAI_API_KEY" — you'll get a secure form. Changes apply instantly, no restart needed.

Voice playback

By default the app uses your browser's built-in voice (free, works offline). When an API key is set, you'll see a toggle on practice screens to use OpenAI's higher-quality voice instead.
